2013 OUTSTANDING WOMAN OF THE YEAR

Rhonda Shear- President of Shear Enterprises, LLC

Having spent 25 years in the Hollywood spotlight as an actress, comedienne and host, Rhonda Shear knows a thing or two about making the most of her assets!  Star of the popular late night series “USA: Up All Night,” Shear learned the art of illusion and camouflage from Hollywood’s top costume designers.  In 2003, she and her husband, Van, formed Shear Enterprises, LLC. and her line of intimate apparel has since become known worldwide for its innovation, color and fit. 

With the incredible growth of Rhonda Shear Intimates and her unique approach to design and management, Rhonda has been awarded several prestigious recognitions over the past few years including Tampa Bay Business Journal's Businesswomen of the Year 2012: Entreprenuer of the Year, 2012 Gulf Coast Business Review Entrepreneur of the Year, 2012 Best Product Award at HSN and she was a finalist in the 2012 Women in Business Stevie Awards.  

In addition to her business acumen, Rhonda has made giving back to the community a priority.  She is actively involved in her local American Cancer Society as a sponsor and a board member, works with multiple local and national charitable organizations, and is involved in a variety of community organizations.  Shear Enterprises routinely donates product to women's shelters worldwide, and Rhonda and her team regularly consult with medical professionals, survivors, and those undergoing treatment for breast cancer to create comfortable options for intimate apparel.
